A nice night ride with Dave and JohnD. As usual the meeting place was freezing with a cold, strong wind blowing so we didn't hang about too long before setting off.

I made it up and over the rocky step again and then we headed off down the MX Trails and out towards the chute. The snow has all gone now, apart from a few pockets here and there, but none on the trails. The river-crossing was quite low too.

We then went down the Chute which was very loose and steep at the top, before making the big long climb back to the top. I was feeling good on the climbs today. The trip back to the car was fairly uneventful although the wind was tough to fight against.

Once back at the cars it was still freezing there so we all made a quick getaway. A good ride though and one we should do more often.
